A new business is preparing to open its doors in Graceville, bringing expanded laundry services and another sign of continued growth within the community. The Graceville Laundromat, owned by Michelle and William Paul, officially opened Tuesday, May 5, at 5423 Cliff Street in Graceville.
For the Paul family, the laundromat represents more than just a business venture. It is also an investment in the future of the town they have called home for generations.
“We decided to open this laundromat as we saw a need in Graceville for a laundromat in addition to helping build Graceville back into the thriving town it was,” the owners shared. “With five generations in and around Graceville, we want to see Graceville be a town our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren can be proud of.”
The laundromat features extra-large capacity washers and dryers manufactured by Speed Queen. Customers will have the option of using traditional coin-operated machines or utilizing cashless payment methods through a mobile app or scan-to-pay feature.
Additional amenities include a change machine, snack vending machine, Coca-Cola vending machine maintained by Coca-Cola, and a coin pusher game for customers to enjoy while waiting on laundry. Owners also noted that a laundry soap and fabric softener vending machine will soon be added.
The Paul family said they are open to community suggestions and hope to continue improving the customer experience as the business grows.
“We are open to community suggestions for improving your experience and convenience,” they said.
The Graceville Laundromat operates seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. A grand opening celebration is scheduled for June 5 at 10 a.m., with additional details expected to be announced on Facebook in the coming weeks.
The opening of the laundromat adds another locally owned business to the Graceville community while also providing residents with expanded access to laundry services in the area.
