On the morning of October 21, 2025, the Panama City Police Department responded to the Residences at SweetBay, located at 3100 SweetBay Avenue in Panama City, Florida, in reference to a reported domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who had fled her apartment with her two minor children. When officers approached the apartment, 24-year-old Christopher Miles briefly fled but was apprehended minutes later.
Following an investigation, Miles was charged with the following offenses:
• Attempted Murder
• Kidnapping (3 counts)
• Domestic Battery
• Resisting Arrest Without Violence
• Lewd and Lascivious Exhibition (2 counts)
• Lewd and Lascivious Conduct
• Manufacture of Child Pornography
