Peter Petersen, age 82 of Bonifay, Florida passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at his home in Bonifay, Florida.
Born Thursday, October 14, 1943 in Hamburg, Germany, he was the son of the late Erich Petersen and the late Helene Beckby Petersen.
Surviving is his wife, Rebecca Ann Smith Petersen of Bonifay, FL, daughter, Shirley Ann Petersen of St. Petersburg, FL, sister, Christa Berger of Miami, FL.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 20, 2026 at West Bonifay Baptist Church with the Rev. Al Leach officiating and Sims Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, February 20, 2026, at West Bonifay Baptist Church.
