Rev. Charles Ray Barton, age 80 of Westville, Florida passes away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at his home in Bonifay, Florida.
Born Monday, July 2, 1945 in Holmes County , Florida, he was the son of the late James Barton and the late Mary Brannon Barton.
Surviving is his wife, Sara Floyd Barton of Westville, FL, son, Christopher A Barton and wife Jackie of Westville, FL, daughter-in-law Brenda Barton of Ponce de Leon, Fl, brother, Russell and wife MaryJane Barton of Westville, FL, sisters, Tamer and husband Earl Phillips of Bonifay, FL and Shirley Rushing of Ponce De Leon, FL grandchildren, Dustin Barton of Leonia, FL, Samantha Arrington and husband Will of Ponce de Leon, Fl, Kacie Barton of Geneva, AL, Elizabeth Barton of Westville, FL, Sara Jane Barton of Westville, FL, Kylee Arrington, Karlee Arrington, Unika Barton; 11 great granchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Rev. Barton was preceded in death by his late wife Delphia Barton, son, Steve Barton, brother, Jerry Barton, sister, Evelyn Phillips.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Caryville Evangelistic Center with the Rev. Wayne Brannon and Rev. Calvin Sellers officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olive A/G Church Cemetery, New Hope, FL with Sims Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Sims Funeral Home Chapel.
