Robert Walker Turner Jr., 86 of Chipley, Florida, passed from this life on March 24, 2026 at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Florida.
Robert was born on October 20, 1939, in Chipley, Florida, to Robert Walker Turner and Lois Letha Jenkins. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing, and watching wrestling. He was a devoted Florida Gators fan and loved cheering them on. Robert especially cherished time with his family and took great pride in watching his grandchildren play sports. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Lois Turner.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years: Mary Kathryn Turner of Chipley, FL; children: Cynthia Turner of Cottonwood, AL, Edward Turner (Stephanie) of Panama City, FL, Deanne Turner of Chipley, FL; sisters: Annice Brock (Gene) of Graceville, FL, Linda Sue Barrentine of Graceville, FL; grandchildren: Brittney (Marcus) Yeager , Brandon(Brooklynn) Porter, Josh (Sandra) Turner, Jared Turner, Jessica (Michael) Whaley, Kimberly (Curtis) Driggers, Brian (Melissa) Haydt, Ashley Haydt, Justin Greene; 23 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held 10 AM Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Obert Funeral Home Chapel in Chipley, Florida with Pastor Shane Obert officiating. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
