Ted Bryant Ponds, age 54, of Ponce de Leon, Florida passed away June 30, 2025, at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay, Florida. He was born May 20, 1971, in Clearwater, Florida. Ted was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Berry Ponds and one sister, Cindy French.
Mr. Ponds is survived by his wife, Tricia Ponds; three children, Misty Johnson and Brandon McHenry, Johnathan Ponds, and Christopher Ponds; three stepchildren, Zachery Morin and Katherine, Skyler Fonseca and Addrian, and Jilas Clayton; his mother, Judith Ponds; four siblings, Tom Ponds and Lynn, Tim Ponds, Sandy Rushing and Willard, and Mandy Conway; a brother-in-law, Jr. French; ten grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 3, 2025, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Ponce de Leon City Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Peel Funeral Home.
