Members of the US Marshals Task Force, which includes Walton County Sheriff’s Office deputies, responded to two DeFuniak Springs residences this week for outstanding warrants involving lewd and lascivious molestation of a child under 12 years old.
Aaron Kent, 26, of Girl Scout Road, and Curtis Chancey, 60, of Hinote Road, were both taken into custody without incident. Their charges stem from two separate cases of molesting children under 12 years of age.
These cases were worked by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit.
Chancey was denied bond, and Kent was issued a $500,000 bond. Both are still incarcerated at the time of this release.
