US Weather Service Advises Marginal Risk of Severe Weather Across Florida Panhandle on Thursday, May 7, 2026

There is a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) of severe weather across southeastern Alabama, Southwestern Georgia, the Florida Panhandle & Big Bend on Thursday.

Isolated damaging wind gusts near 60 mph are possible along with hail up to quarter size. The tornado threat remains low at this time.

The main potential will come in the morning hours, but a storm or two may linger into the afternoon, especially across Florida.
