Vera Phillips Foxworth, age 91, of Bonifay, Florida passed away June 28, 2025, at Bonifay Nursing and Rehab. She was born October 22, 1933, in Holmes County, Florida to the late George Washington Phillips and Ella Fair Helms Phillips.
In addition to her parents, Vera was preceded in death by two children, Roger Foxworth and Linda Duffell and two sisters, Johnnie Sealy and Louise Waye Bolin.
Ms. Foxworth is survived by three children, Mark Randall Foxworth and wife MaryBeth of Port Orchard, WA, Ronald Foxworth and wife Elaine of St. Louis Park, MN, and Rhonda Gail Smith of Bonifay, FL; 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Thursday, July 3, 2025, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitch Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:30 to 2:30 PM at Peel Funeral Home.
