Join Vernon, Florida on July 4, 2026 for the annual 4th of July Patriotic Celebration, with a parade at 5pm (line up at 4pm) through Downtown Vernon.
Festivities will follow at the Vernon Sportsplex, featuring food, games and live music, with fireworks at dark (9PM-ish).
Everyone would love to see a parade full of old cars, floats, music, churches and youth groups, beauty queens, and politicians out supporting the community.
This event is funded by donations and looks to be a big community event and BIG fireworks show.
Mark your calendars and plan to ride in the parade and then go to the Sportsplex for games, food, music and fun.
Proceeds from the concessions go to the rec department who host kids from all over Washington County.
