Virginia Drake, 91 of Chipley, Florida, passed away on April 27, 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Virginia was born to Fred and Minnie Canington on March 2, 1934, in Panama City, Florida. She was a 20-year resident of Chipley, Florida, coming from Lake Lure, North Carolina. Virginia loved refurbishing antiques, sewing, redecorating her home, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Fred and Minnie Canington; husband: Robert Drake and son: Robert (Robby) Drake Jr.; brother: F.L. Canington; sisters: Betty Hodges, Ruth Booth, and Voncile Mcneil.
She is survived by her sister: Nancy Dixon (Warren) of Augusta, GA and niece Connie Toffolio (David) of Chipley, Flordia.
