Walton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a theft at Silver Sands Premium Outlets in Miramar Beach Friday, November 28th, after a man walked off with Versace sunglasses valued at more than $350 and Ray-Bans worth more than $230.
Thanks to quick suspect and vehicle descriptions, deputies intercepted the car near South Church Street and Highway 98 in Santa Rosa Beach.
Inside? The stolen sunglasses, plus merchandise from another store at the outlet mall.
The driver, Alijah Iwer-Gilliam, 34, of Smyrna, GA, was taken into custody and is now facing theft charges.
