The U.S. Marshals Task Force arrest a wanted fugitive out of Tyler, Texas.
Friday morning, members of the U.S. Marshal Task Force, including members of the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, arrested Christopher Lynn Bowles, 42, at a home on Coy Burgess Loop.
Bowles has nationwide extradition warrants out of the Smith County Sheriff’s Office in Texas for sexual assault of a child and continuous sexual assault of a child under 14 years old.
Through investigation, it was determined that Bowles was staying in DeFuniak Springs with his current girlfriend. Bowles was located at the home and taken into custody without incident. He will be extradited back to Texas to face his charges.
