Members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force, including deputies from Walton County Sheriff’s Office, located a stolen car in the parking lot of Walmart.
When deputies attempted to take the driver, Christopher William Knight, 35, into custody, he refused to get out of the vehicle.
When taken to the jail to be booked, Knight committed battery on booking staff.
Knight is charged with grand theft auto, obstruction, and battery on a LEO.
