Countywide Burn Ban in Effect – Washington County, Florida
The Washington County, Florida Board of County Commissioners has issued a countywide Burn Ban effective immediately.
Due to severe drought conditions, low humidity, dry vegetation, and windy weather, fire danger is extremely high. These conditions allow fires to start easily and spread rapidly, posing a serious threat to lives, property, and public safety.
All outdoor burning is prohibited until further notice.
We strongly urge all residents to comply with the burn ban to help prevent wildfires and protect our community.
