A strong thunderstorm is moving through northeastern Bay and east-central Washington Counties this afternoon.
The storm is capable of producing wind gusts up to 40 mph which could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
The storm was located about 13 miles east of Vernon around 2:14pm and is slowly moving northwest at 5 mph. If you are in the area, expect heavy rain, lightning, and gusty winds.
