Washington County, Florida Fire Department is thrilled to announce that our new Engine 10 was officially pushed into service today by community members and firefighters.
Engine 10 is a state-of-the-art apparatus equipped with a 2,100-gallon water tank and a 1,250 gallon per minute pumping capacity. Secured through state appropriations, this engine replaces our 1992 E-one engine, ensuring improved service and protection for our community. Engine 10 represents more than just a safe ride to get us to emergency scenes.
This truck represents an investment to our community. A promise to those we serve. A promise that on someone’s worst day, a well equipped apparatus with well trained firefighters will respond and mitigate that incident.
On behalf of the Washington County Fire Department, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in this special day. Your support helped make this event truly memorable.
