Sheriff Crews announces the arrest of 44-year-old, Jaquelyn Amanda Adams.
Adams was the target subject wanted for the sale of illegal narcotics at a residence on Pinecrest Street in Vernon.
A search warrant was issued and executed by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office SWAT and Drug Task Force on March 21st, 2025, but Adams was not present at the residence. Adams, who was currently on state probation, made contact with WCSO Investigators over the phone but failed to cooperate.
Yesterday morning, Adams was apprehended in Geneva, AL by the US Marshal Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and is being held in the Geneva County Jail awaiting extradition back to Washington County on the charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, unlawful use of a two way communication device and the sell of methamphetamine.
