On May 22, 2026, a deputy with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office observed a vehicle commiting a traffic violation in the area of Singer Road.
As the deputy attempted to initiate a traffic stop, the vehicle quickly pulled into a driveway on Singer Road.
The driver was identified as Brian Sachs of Fountain. During the stop, Sachs informed the deputy that the vehicle did not have insurance coverage. Deputies also observed Sachs displaying several signs of extreme nervousness throughout the encounter.
Sachs further advised the deputy that he did not possess a valid driver’s license and that he was in possession of marijuana. A subsequent search confirmed Sachs was in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine.
Brian Sachs was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana Less Than 20 Grams and Possession of Methamphetamine.
Sachs was transported to the Washington County Jail.
