On April 10, 2026, Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a physical altercation at 3909 Greenwood Drive in Caryville. Deputies arrived on scene and spoke with the victim who advised that a subject Cameron Williams along with two other subjects had threatened to physically harm them with a knife. The victim stated the subjects left the address prior to the arrival of deputies.
A BOLO was issued for the vehicle and a short time later deputies located the vehicle at Camilla trailer park in Caryville. Deputies were able to contact one of the suspects, Adam Joseph Ball, at his residence. Ball was detained and advised Cameron Williams to be inside his residence armed with a weapon. Washington County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team responded and was able to take all suspects into custody without further incident.
Subjects arrested are as follows:
Cameron Lee Williams 24 yoa – Aggravated Assault with a weapon, Felony VOP warrant out of Washington County, Flee and Elude warrant out of Holmes County.
Charles Marshall Looney 22 yoa- Violation of Probation Washington County
Devon Hunter Ellis 23 yoa- Violation of Probation Washington County
Leroy Tyrone Cady 58 yoa- Violation of Probation Washington County
Adam Joseph Ball 42 yoa- Aggravated Assault with a Weapon
A male juvenile was also taken into custody for Aggravated Assault with a Weapon
