Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrests a woman on felony drug charges.
Around 3:30 a.m., this morning, Washington County Sheriff’s deputies observed a vehicle stop in the roadway on St. Mary’s Rd. due to a tree limb making the road impassable.
As deputies converge to remove the limb from the roadway, they could smell the odor of narcotics coming from inside the parked vehicle as the occupants rolled down their windows.
A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in deputies locating clear plastic baggie containing a crystal-like substance that later field tested positive for methamphetamine and a clear smoking device in a purse that belonged to the driver, 38-year-old, Tiffany Walker Skillingstad.
Skillingstad also confirmed the items to be methamphetamine.
Skillingstad was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail on the charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
