At approximately 8:15 a.m. Washington County Sheriff’s Office Telecommunications Center received a call in reference to a robbery of the Pate Farms Convenience store in Caryville. Prior to WCSO’s arrival the suspects fled West on foot down the railroad tracks towards Westville. WCSO Investigators arrived on scene and were able to quickly identify the suspects through store surveillance footage.
Washington CI/Holmes CI K-9 Units were called in along with the WSCO Drone Team, FWC and Holmes County Sheriff’s Office. A few hours later the juveniles were located at a residence in Westville and were taken into custody.
Sheriff Crews would like to thank everyone involved in the apprehension of the juveniles.
The two juveniles were arrested and charged with robbery and resisting without violence. They were transported to the Holmes County Jail where they will be turned over to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
