Around this time each year, Washington County, Florida School District gears up for the annual ‘Teacher of the Year’, ‘Rookie Teacher of the Year’ and ‘Support Person of the Year’ awards, inclusive of all schools in the district, and this year, for the inaugural ‘Principle of the Year’.
To that end, the Photography Program at Florida Panhandle Technical College, under the direction of Instructor Paul Goulding, start the process of shooting headshot portraits, as well as interviewing students, supervisors, coworkers and others within the school system, to say a few kind words about each nominee, as seen in these headshot photos of the WCSD TOY candidates for the 2025-2026 TOY Celebration.

Winter Semester starts on January 6, 2026, and if you are interested in Photography, Video Production, Audio Production and Studio Recording, Drone Technology, Radio and TV Production, Marketing, Public Relations or responsible Social Media, consider the Photography, Digital Video Technology, Drone or Television Production Technology programs at Florida Panhandle Technical College in Chipley, now enrolling Florida and Alabama students for the 2026 school year, and financial aid is available.
Total-immersion programs featuring hands-on work, studio experience and field trips for adults and dual-enrolled or homeschooled high school students, who may attend at no cost, for half of each school day in their Junior and Senior year.
