Weather Experts Advise of Increased Risk of Showers and Storms in Western Florida Panhandle on Tuesday PM, Wednesday AM

Afternoon update increased risk in the area to 15% with wind the main concern. The forecast remains the same. A weakening line of showers and storms should move in around midnight in the western panhandle of Florida Tuesday night Wednesday morning. A few storms could be strong to severe.

A severe storm is a storm that produces winds 58 mph + or hail 1”+ or a tornado. Have ways to get warning tomorrow night. Wind is the main concern from storms with a higher risk of severe weather the farther west you get in the panhandle. Risk of severe weather is 10-15% at any given spot.
