Heavy rain and flash flooding is expected over parts of Hispaniola and Jamaica.
You do NOT see this very often… The HAFS-A hurricane model is showing Melissa reaching sub 900 MB as a hurricane by Sunday near Jamacia.
This is NOT impossible if Melissa stays over water in the Caribbean. A potentially catastrophic hurricane could develop over the next few days.
