The Chipley 8U All-Star softball team is preparing to take the next step in an outstanding postseason journey as they set their sights on competing in the 2026 Dixie Softball World Series, as seen in this contributed photo.
The young squad has dominated throughout district and state tournament play, compiling a perfect 8-0 record while overwhelming opponents by a combined score of 135-29 to become the Florida State Champions. Their balanced offense, solid defense, and teamwork have made them one of the top 8U teams heading into the Dixie Softball World Series.
The coaching staff consists of Tim Boone, Lindsay Boone, Justin Burnham, and Eric Lockhart. The 2026 Chipley 8U All-Star roster includes Isabella Burnham, Georgia Brown, Lyla Boone, Meredith Crawford, Carrie Harkins, Brexley Buchanan, Lilliana Guettler, Haven Brannon, JaMyiah McKinnie, Juliann Hammond, Bexley Lockhart, and Emma Carter. Throughout the postseason, the players have demonstrated resilience, determination, and outstanding teamwork, with every member of the roster contributing to the team’s undefeated run.
With the Dixie Softball World Series now on the horizon, the Chipley All-Stars have intensified preparations as they look to continue their winning ways against some of the best teams in Dixie Softball. Their first challenge will come against Cherryville, North Carolina, in the opening round of the tournament on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, at 2 p.m. EST in Belleview, Florida.
The Chipley community has rallied behind the young athletes throughout their postseason run, offering encouragement and support as they prepare to represent their hometown on one of Dixie Softball’s biggest stages.
Entering the Dixie Softball World Series undefeated, the Chipley 8U All-Stars will look to carry the momentum from an impressive district and state tournament run into Belleview. With talented players, experienced coaches, and the backing of their hometown, the team hopes to continue its magical season and bring home a Dixie Softball World Series championship.
