Donald Lee Sellers, age 83, of Chipley, Florida, transitioned from this life on August 16, 2026. He was born October 13, 1942, in Bean City, Florida.
Donald devoted 25 years to the United States Army, (joining while still a teenager) rising through the enlisted ranks and serving his country through a long distinguished and decorated military career; to include numerous medals and awards. Donald’s career also included one combat tour of duty in Vietnam.
Donald is survived by his wife, Irmhild Sellers of Chipley, Florida; his son Michael Sellers of Chipley; his daughter Diana Berrios and son-in-law Jose Berrios of Chipley; and his son Anthony Sellers and son-in-law Joshua Ahles of Panama City, Florida.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Stanley Shavers III, Alexander Shavers, Stephanie Ussery, Michael Sellers, Kylie Sellers, and Forest Sellers; and his great-grandchildren, Alyviah Shavers, Aurorah Shavers, Kaleb Meredith, Kadence Meredith, Macy Ussery and Paxton Sellers.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Sellers and Christine Pagano. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Clinton and Johnny Sellers.
His family intends for his military service to be honored with the dignity it deserves, including full military funeral honors. Final service and memorial arrangements are being made through Brown’s Funeral Home in Chipley, Florida, with additional details to be announced by the family.
