On August 30, 2026, Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a traffic stop on a black Honda traveling on Highway 179.
The driver, identified as Daryon Morris, was found to have a suspended driver’s license. During a probable cause search of the vehicle, deputies located a black backpack containing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Morris claimed ownership of the backpack and its contents.
The passenger, Deonte Williams, was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both Morris and Williams were placed under arrest and transported for booking. They were each charged accordingly.
