Kathleen J. Ames, 70 of Marianna, Florida passed from this life on August 7, 2026 at River Valley Rehab Center in Blountstown, Florida.
Kathleen was born on April 24, 1956 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Rayford Darstra and Patricia Ames. Kathleen was a school bus driver for Jackson County School Board. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sister: Robin Morgan; lifelong friend: Karen McVan.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorialization will be by cremation with Obert Funeral Home and Whispering Pines Crematory of Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements.
