Ollie Andrew Ratcliff was born November 18, 1960, to Betty Arrington-Ratcliff and Alvin P. Ratcliff. Growing up, Ollie was known to his siblings and family as “Andy.”
Andy loved to play musical instruments when he was a child. He was a lover of music, which is something he shared with his family.
Andy was a special child of God. Although he faced a lot of medical challenges in his early life, he continued to be a bright light in this world and now he is with our Father in Heaven, shining down on us. Andy joins many of his siblings and parents in the Kingdom of Heaven.
He gained his wings on July 27, 2026.
Andy was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Arrington McKenzie; stepfather, Chester McKenzie; father, Alvin Ratcliff; sisters, Lynn Ratcliff and Teresa Lassitter; brothers, Buster Ratcliff, Willie Ratcliff, David Ratcliff, and Mike Ratcliff.
He is survived by his brothers, John Ratcliff and Lloyd McKenzie of Chipley, FL. His nephews are Billy Ratcliff of Chipley, FL, Jake Ratcliff of Pensacola, FL, Chris Bruner (Emma) of Chipley, FL, and Dusty Bruner of Bonifay, FL.
His nieces, Linda Cox (Brad Ward) of Westville, FL, Kayla Johnson (Daniel) of Bonifay, FL, Rachael Ratcliff of Pensacola, FL, and Jessica Slaughter-Drake (Jason) of Ripon, WI; his sister-in-law, Barbara Ratcliff of Pensacola, FL; many great-nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family of Ollie Andrew Ratcliff would like to express their heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation to the staff at Sunland in Marianna, Florida, as well as Emerald Coast Hospice, especially Nurse Marsha, for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided to Andy.

Service will be held 10 AM Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Obert Funeral Home Chapel (731 Kirkland Road) in Chipley, Florida. A private interment will follow in New Smyrna Cemetery in Bonifay, Florida. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
