Pauline Barfield Pruett, 80 of Ponce De Leon, Florida passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at her residence in Ponce De Leon, Florida.
She was born Tuesday, December 18, 1945 in Washington, Florida, she was the daughter of the late John Barfield and the late Pauline Taylor Barfield.
Surviving are sons, Johnny and wife Betty Pruett of Ponce De Leon, FL and Richard Pruett of Poplar Bluff, MO, daughters, Melanie Bradley of Ponce de leon , FL and Janet Gomillion of Red Bay, FL, brother, Oid Barfield of Myakka, FL, sisters, Victoria Aplin of Ponce de leon, FL, Vivian Vickery of Imokalee, FL and Jewel Rowland of Winchestor Canal, OH; She is also survived by a host of grand, great grand and great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Willis Edward Pruett and 2 sons, James and Dennis Pruett.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joseph Ward officiating. Burial will be in Barfield Cemetery in Wausau, FL with Sims Funeral Home Directing.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Sims Funeral Home Chapel.
